Just when you thought you couldn’t cram any more sparkle or sequins into Las Vegas, the Burlesque Hall Of Fame Exotic World Weekend rumbled into town, crammed with more inappropriately dressed women, feather boas and nipple tassels than you could shake a tailfeather at.

At the Stars Of Burlesque Striptease Reunion, Bizarre witnessed old hands such as Satan’s Angel and Holiday O’Hara sharing the stage with shiny new starlets such as Kitten DeVille and Ruby Valentine.
Saturday night saw New York’s hugely popular Angie Pontani crowned Miss Exotic World 2008, and Sunday’s pool party had the crowd melting with oodles of retro flesh on display.

At the last minute, the Nevada State Gaming Commission announced to horrified performers that no girls could expose the underside of their breasts in a Las Vegas casino. They even had a guy who did a ‘cup check’ before the girls went on – a position that was gone by the time I’d filled out the form. Still, there’s always next year.
